25 Weeks

How far along? 25 Weeks
Total weight gain: 22ish lbs
Best moment of the week: Jason and my family getting to feel baby girl kick! I assumed it would be a few weeks until someone else could feel movement but when baby girl is kicking (or doing whatever she's doing!) they've been able to feel it! So, so special. :)
Maternity clothes? Kind of! Bought two maternity workout tops because I was clearly *popping out* of my normal ones (and not just my belly!) I love them because they're long and sort of cover the butt. Why aren't all tops made this long and lean?!
Sleep: Pretty good! Besides getting up about three times a night to pee...it's a piece of cake still!
Miss anything? Eating without getting out of breath?! Talking fast without getting out of breath?!
Food cravings: Still nothing huge in particular. I am loving my chicken, veggies and glass noodle dish I get at a local Thai place...and of course anything smothered in breading or cheese I am all for at any time. I've been eating a lot of egg and cheese bagel sandwiches as of late as well.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Not queasy or sick per say, but usually come dinner time it takes every ounce of brain power to come up with something I want to eat for dinner. I get starving at lunch and then come dinner time I have NO appetite. If I didn't work out in the mornings I would stick to my Fruit Loops dinner-of-champions, but since I would like to stay able to go to the gym I have to force something with a little more substance down. :)
Symptoms: Nothing too bad except I feel like I am REALLY starting to grow this last week. I swear I woke up on Sunday and was much bigger than I was on Saturday! Baby girl is definitely starting to grow because it's getting tougher to be full after meals without panting and getting extremely uncomfortable...and these cute dresses I bought as makeshift maternity dresses will probably be long gone within the next month if it keeps up at this rate!
Belly button in or out? It's almost completely flat. If I were to judge it off of my sister's reaction when she saw it...I would say it looks pretty funky at the moment!
Movement: Yes! Usually when I'm completely still and can just "be" in the moment, I can put my hands on my stomach and feel her moving around.
Happy or Moody most of the time? So, so happy.
Looking forward to: THANKSGIVING! Excited to be pregnant on Turkey Day and reallyyyy indulge in all the deliciousness that will be made all day long!!!

24 Weeks

How far along? 24 Weeks - WOW! Am I really six months already?!
Total weight gain: 20+lbs...it kind of goes up and down so somewhere around there!
Best moment of the week: Still the fact that I'm feeling this little girl move! It's so crazy...every time it happens I try to sit real still and feel my tummy to embrace it. :)
Maternity clothes? I wore my first maternity long sleeve tee this week! It's amazing what my belly already won't fit into...can only imagine as I pop more and more what won't fit that I originally thought I could possibly stretch out!
Sleep: Still great! Cannot complain. Soaking it in as much as I can...I think my eyes shut at 8:20pm last night. :)
Miss anything? Hmm. Not too much. Yes, being tan, and yes, turkey sandwiches every day of the week. Those two things will never change...
Food cravings: On Sunday it was Alamo Cafe...but let's be honest, who doesn't crave their chips and queso?! Nothing specific still. I'm waiting for it though...oh, and Turkey-Day can't get here soon enough! I'm already drooling thinking of my Mom, Dad and Aunt's cooking. Get in my bellyyyyyyyyy!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Grilled chicken at times still. And mushrooms.
Symptoms: Nothing really.
Belly button in or out? It's almost completely flat. If I were to judge it off of my sister's reaction when she saw it...I would say it looks pretty funky at the moment!
Movement: Yes! Tiny twitches/flutters, especially when I lay completely still :)
Happy or Moody most of the time? So, so happy.
Looking forward to: Decorating for CHRISTMAS! I'm just as excited about Thanksgiving as well, but my fall decor has been up since early September so it's only fair that my Christmas decor gets a good month and a half.

23 Weeks

How far along? 23 Weeks
Total weight gain: 20+lbs!
Best moment of the week: Realizing that I really am feeling baby girl move! I really thought I would be feeling little feet or hands, so when I sat really still and would feel the little twitches and realized that was her, it was a great feeling!
Maternity clothes? Still rocking the regular dresses! Wonder how long I'll be able to get away with this...
Sleep: Great! There was one night last week that I woke up around 2am and barely fell back to sleep before the alarm went off at 5am, but surprisingly I wasn't dying the next day. Sometimes I wake up and just think about how different things will be in four/five months...!
Miss anything? Being tan!
Food cravings: Still nothing in particular. Although I did wake up and tell Hubby we were going to Alamo Cafe for lunch...I workout hard every week and was totally wanting to cash in on that. :)
Anything making you queasy or sick? Some meat. There have been lots of dinners with cereal involved because sometimes in the evenings, meat is the last thing I want to eat?!
Symptoms:  Nothing new or surprising...although I am kind of bummed I never got the "long, shiny hair" side-effect from the prenatals. My hair has pretty much STOPPED growing at the length it is now and I was hoping for a bit more!
Belly button in or out? It's flat now...but not for long! It is totally on it's way to pop-out-ville.
Movement:  Yes! Tiny twitches/flutters, especially when I lay completely still :)
Happy or Moody most of the time? So, so happy.
Looking forward to: What am I NOT looking forward to?! This is such an exciting time and the fact that I'm feeling so good right now when the holidays are getting underway makes me excited every single day. I am though excited to begin planning a baby shower with my mom, sisters and some friends...can't wait to celebrate baby girl!

22 Weeks

How far along? 22 Weeks
Total weight gain: Almost the big 2-0!
Best moment of the week: Getting baby girl's furniture put together and set up! Thanks to hubby for ordering and to my fabulous dad, brother-in-law, mom and sissies, we got it put together last weekend and so I feel ahead of schedule and GREAT!
Maternity clothes? Still rocking the blousey dresses + a few key maternity pieces. Couldn't live without my maternity leggings (who would've thought that your normal leggings wouldn't work in this situation?! They're so stretchy...but they have no GIVE!) and a few maternity cami's. I'll be heading out shopping later for some LONG long sleeve tops. :)
Sleep:  Great! I continue to be able to sleep on my stomach for now...so I'm soaking it up while it lasts.
Miss anything? Being tan. That's about it at this point!.
Food cravings: Nothing in particular. I continue to do real well with Mexican food (refried beans have been my BFF) and then this week included lots of Halloween candy. :)
Anything making you queasy or sick? Mushrooms and sour cream. Don't ask.
Symptoms:  It's been a great, symptom-free week. Besides having a TMI side-effect from taking my prenatals at different times of the day now (let's just say the restroom is not my best friend. If you've ever been pregnant, you know what I'm speaking about...), it has been pretty smooth sailing!
Belly button in or out? In. Or flat. Whatever it is - it's a changing that's for sure! Wahhh!
Movement: No. I cannot wait!!!! I'm sure I have felt her and I'm just unaware of it...but I'm ready for the "Oh! There she is!" movements :)
Happy or Moody most of the time? So very happy
Looking forward to: The best two holidays of the year are approaching...and it makes me beyond excited to think about the holidays with baby girl next year. Seeing holidays through children's eyes are the best! And it will be a blast for both families to have a baby around!
