29 & 30 Weeks

How far along? 30Weeks...3/4ths of the way there!
Total weight gain: Somewhere between 25-30ish lbs. It fluctuates all the time!
Best moment of the week: Thinking about Christmas next year with our little girl. I am so anxious to meet her and she will be surrounded by such love; it will certainly be a magical Christmas with a little one around!
Maternity clothes? Still sticking to just a few maternity sweaters and clutch tops. I like to stick to the tops that could possibly double as non-maternity clothes after the fact; that's the great thing about being super pregnant in the winter is large over-sized sweaters are the best!
Sleep: Doing well but this week was the first time I really decided I shouldn't be sleeping on my stomach. It hasn't been uncomfortable until currently, so the "snoogle" pillow is again my best friend! Also my "pregnancy carpal tunnel" is unfortunately effecting my sleep and hopefully that will get better soon.
Miss anything? I missed having a glass of wine here and there over the holidays, but, I would have a half glass on the special occasion evenings. And one day in particular my Mom had an ice cold beer and I was crazy jealous...but that really only comes every once in awhile!
Food cravings: Nothing really...but man-oh-man was Christmas food good to this preggo. :) Just when I thought I couldn't fit in anything else...it was time for my Mom and Dad's famous Christmas dinner...and I totally made room. Baby girl is starting to take up more and more room and it is TOUGH being full these days. A "stuffed sausage" is how I usually describe it; I honestly sometimes don't even eat THAT much and I will be so full I have to lay down!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Not at all!
Symptoms:  As mentioned above, I have semi self-diagnosed myself with pregnancy induced carpal tunnel. :( I went in to the doctor after having some swelling in my feet and hands and the feet swelling went away but the hand swelling-turned-numbing-and-painful has stayed. Apparently this is quite normal and the crappy part is there isn't ALL that much I can do about it. If it continues this strongly I will check out a chiropractor or acupuncture, but in the meantime I just have to wait out the pain. It's at it's worst when I sleep; what happens is there is a circulation problem and when I'm stationary for a long time (but it's not ONLY when I'm stationary), it acts up even more. You know that "I slept on my hand and now it's asleep" feeling? It's that - except you can't shake it off. For hours. It stinks!
Belly button in or out? Flat sometimes, out sometimes. :) Not out as in, REALLY out...but much more "out" than I'm used to!
Movement: Yes and I love it!
Happy or Moody most of the time? So, so happy.
Looking forward to: I'm looking forward to getting that "nesting" feeling and getting a push to really finish baby girl's room!!

28 Weeks

How far along? 28 Weeks...still cannot believe how far along I am! And at the same time, it feels like I've been pregnant forever ;)
Total weight gain: 25ish lbs
Best moment of the week: My best/favorite moments of any week are when I get to be surrounded by family and close friends who get to love on my belly! I cherish how excited everyone is to meet baby girl and I love the feeling.
Maternity clothes? A few here and there! Today I am wearing a maternity sweater from Ann Taylor Loft, but I swear I am going to wear this always and not just when I'm pregnant! When I've bought ANY maternity clothes I've really tried to stick to buying very non-obvious maternity clothes so that just maybe they can double as larger sweaters come next winter. With it being cold and not warm, the large-sweater-wardrobe has come in so handy.
Sleep: Still doing very well with sleep. Still getting up each morning at 5am for my workout and I've had no issues and no trouble with that yet.
Miss anything? I really can't think of too much...turkey meat and tanning...but I think you got the point...!
Food cravings: Again, nothing in particular. It's crazy fun to be preggo with all the holiday parties and yummy food everywhere...but besides just indulging a bit more than my usual, there have been no funky or funny stories to share. :)
Anything making you queasy or sick? Not at all!
Symptoms:  Popping out more and more each week!
Belly button in or out? Flat FOR THE MOST PART! When I get full and laugh - it pops out! But on a normal occasion it's still flat or somewhat inwards.
Movement: Yes and I love it!
Happy or Moody most of the time? So, so happy.
Looking forward to: Celebrating hubby and my second wedding anniversary tomorrow night! I'm one lucky gal and this baby is about to get one an amazing daddy. :)

26 & 27 Weeks

How far along? 27 Weeks - THIRD trimester already?!
Total weight gain: 23ish lbs
Best moment of the week: Buying fun things for baby girl. :) She is so fun to shop for! Bows, clothes galore, etc. Also, really getting into "looking pregnant" these days and I love that it's finally obvious to people. The looks I get are great, and I can't say "thank you" enough to all the kind words people share and give us!
Maternity clothes? Sometimes! Definitely sticking to baggier "normal girl" clothes, haha, but I officially bought my first two pair of maternity pants. Skinny jeans and black pants...and very glad I did! Boy does it get uncomfortable when something is too tight. Thank you Jessica Simpson for making a super cute maternity clothes line!
Sleep: Still doing well in the sleep department! Oddly, I am getting about an hour less of sleep every night, and I'm really doing okay with it. I know that sounds funny - but I honestly have always (since a BABY) needed so much sleep. Early to bed, early to rise. But I talked to a friend of mine who just gave birth and she said it perfectly, she said it's almost like your brain and body are preparing you for life with an infant, and we begin to work a *wee bit* better on less sleep.
Miss anything? Not too much luckily! I would've love to do a huge workout after Thanksgiving (holy hell - I don't think I've EVER been that full!), but there's no boot-camp-allowed for this body for the time being. I'll stick to my lower-weight bodypump and stair master!
Food cravings: Really not much. Really a LACK OF cravings. I'm again to the point where it takes me hours upon hours to make a decision on what to eat. Everyone is so sweet and wants the pregnant lady to pick what we eat...but honestly you would be doing me a bigger favor to pick FOR me! Now - this is all being said minus Thanksgiving day. My dad's fried turkey and my mom's mashed potatoes had me all but foaming at the mouth all day long. I could eat that meal FOR every meal... :)
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope! Feeling pretty comfortable around all food and smells. Nothing that didn't make me queasy pre-pregnancy.
Symptoms: Just really showing more and more and really beginning to really get the "pregnant girl" body. Not really symptoms per say, but more just feeling like a legitimate pregnant girl. :)
Belly button in or out? Still in/flat!!! Please stay this way as long as possible...AND WHAT IF IT DOESN'T GO BACK IN?!
Movement: Yes, yes, yes! I just LOVE feeling baby girl move around in there. I almost videoed my stomach the other day because every so often you could see her kicking from looking at my belly! I can't wait for that and for hubby to feel her more.
Happy or Moody most of the time? So, so happy.
Looking forward to: Naming this little peanut! Can't wait to find something perfect to call our little girl.
