How far along? 35 Weeks
Total weight gain: 35lbs-ish! Don't know if I'll keep this updated as these last few weeks come by... ;)
Best moment of the week: Another wonderful shower for baby girl was given to me by my dearest and longest friends (met one of them at 3 years old!) and all of our mama's. It was a fabulous reminder of all the amazing women baby girl will already have in her life as soon as she arrives. :)
Maternity clothes? Let me tell you - I am LIVING in my Gap maternity leggings. Pair those with boots, a tunic, sweater or maternity sweater top and I am golden. Thank goodness for the weather we've been having (and my boss for allowing the leggings!) so I've been able to dress cute yet comfy.
Sleep: Pretty good actually! I am sleeping a little more these days - I'm back up to 8 hours somehow! And besides the hands-falling-asleep issue and of course the 20 pound bowling ball in my midsection to keep me from sleeping on my front or back...I'm getting plenty of sleep that's for sure!
Miss anything? No foods. No drinks. Just walking, talking and breathing normally. ;) But it is SO worth it! I wouldn't trade it for the world.
Food cravings: Nada! I've been eating Cliff Bars like crazy...and my Lenny's sandwiches and my Quaker cheese puffs...but that's about as exciting as it gets!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope! Hallelujah.
Symptoms: Still carpal tunnel. Acupuncture is doing wonderful things and at least it takes out the painful portion of carpal tunnel. Just these damn numb fingers...
Belly button in or out? It is SO CLOSE to being out! It's definitely out some of the time, but not all the time still yet. Waiting for it to POP!
Movement: Lots and LOTS and loving it! I am thinking she dropped a little bit and now I am feeling her all the time which I welcome with open arms. I can't get enough!
Happy or Moody most of the time? So, so happy.
Looking forward to: Really tackling baby girl's room! I finally have an almost-finished vision and am slowly but surely making it happen. :)

34 Weeks
How far along? 34 Weeks
Total weight gain: 30-32lbs.- ish
Best moment of the week: All the love showered onto baby girl this past weekend!
Maternity clothes? Still not too many! I assume this answer of mine won't change for the remaining six weeks...but then again comfort is becoming my absolute #1 importance so who knows...I might have to go buy a few more maternity sweaters.
Sleep: Pretty good. Snoogle is my best friend again! With the carpal tunnel, if I'm not careful about how I sleep and my hand placement, my hands will fall asleep and in turn wake me up. So I lay on my sides and try to maneuver my hands (which only works some of the time of course) to where I'm not laying on them or my arms. I usually sleep in about 3-4 hour increments...so probably my brain and body are preparing for baby!
Miss anything? To reiterate from last week...I miss getting up from my desk, couch, bed, etc. without moaning and groaning! I don't even realize I'm doing it - but whew! It takes a lot out of me to stand up after sitting for awhile! It's hysterical.
Food cravings: NOTHING! I am the most boring pregnant girl to eat with I swear. Hubby calls me on his way home from work every night I swear with the hopes that I'm going to want him to pick me up something fabulous and crazy (because then HE gets to benefit from it as well ;) !), but it's just not happening. If I DO want anything interesting, it's NEVER at night and always at lunch...almost no appetite at all for dinner. So poor hubby just has to fend for himself most evenings. ;)
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope! Hallelujah.
Symptoms: Just the good 'ol carpal tunnel that seems to be sticking around. Oh - and I think I might have had a braxton hicks contraction or two. I got up from sitting last night and it sort of felt like a sharp RIP in my lower abdomen area? Just twice and then never again. Thank goodness for mom, books and mommy-friends at work that help me through all the symptoms so I don't have the be the crazy freaked-out pregnant lady!
Belly button in or out? I personally think it's flat most of the time and slightly comes out when I laugh or breathe heavily...but I've been told that nope, it's OUT! I think it's because when I picture an "outie", I don't picture what I have. Put it this way - it doesn't LOOK like it's popped out. It's just more of when I wear a tight shirt it looks like there's something protruding.
Movement: Lots and loving it! She will slow down from time to time...but I think she's getting bigger and the space is getting smaller so it's not as noticeable.
Happy or Moody most of the time? So, so happy.
Looking forward to: Going through all of baby girl's gifts and getting organized! The families and my office hosted absolutely lovely baby showers this past weekend and Jason and I could not feel more fortunate to be surrounded by such wonderful people in our lives. Six weeks to go and we can't WAIT!
Here are some quick pictures from the showers this weekend. I have such a happy heart!

33 Weeks
How far along? 33Weeks
Total weight gain: Between 30-32lbs.
Best moment of the week: Really feeling more connected with baby girl.
Maternity clothes? Not too many! Love, love, love my GAP maternity leggings though. I now have four pair and wear them just about every day of the week!
Sleep: I'm still fortunate to be doing well in the sleep department. I go from about 9pm-4:30am with getting up about three times for a restroom break. :)
Miss anything? Nothing in regards to food...but being able to stand up and walk around without grunting or moaning?! Yes, I miss that. :)
Food cravings: This week was pot roast and frozen corn! Love how hubby doctor's up some good 'ol frozen corn...and I haven't been too hungry in the evenings so a little piece of HEB's frozen pot roasts have been the perfect solution.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope! Except maybe my dogs - does that count?! I can't remember the last time I got so angry that I got sick to my stomach and didn't want to eat. Welp, that happened last night! Let's just say that my expensive feather-down throw pillows that were without their pillow cases for the night got a good night's sleep on from our dirty, 100lb, black-haired-shedding great dane. When we sat down last night for dinner on the couch and I took a second glance at the filthy pillows...no dinner was had for me. I was so mad I really got nauseous and thought I was going to throw up!
Symptoms: Carpel tunnel is better...so that's a great thing. Still not gone; but better. I have a great acupuncturist if anyone needs one! But as mentioned above, the grunting, moaning and waddling symptoms have officially kicked into full gear. Now that baby girl is really growing herself (supposedly she is almost 4lbs and the size of a pineapple!), I am really starting to feel the aches and pains of having so much weight in my midsection. Go figure: I can do the stair master for an hour, but getting up at work after sitting behind the computer for a few hours?! You would think it was going to take me 5 minutes to walk 10 feet! Her arrival is getting closer and closer...and I sure am getting more and more ready for her to be here!
Belly button in or out? Flat sometimes/out sometimes. And by out I mean, the bottom part of the "button" is out. But not the top half! WHAT?!?!
Movement: Lots! Loving it. Hubby has really come around to wanting to feel her move all the time. It freaked him out for awhile, understandably, but he is loving it now.
Happy or Moody most of the time? So, so happy.
Looking forward to: Showing baby girl this weekend! Such sweet family and friends and co-workers will surround us with love (and presents - WOOHOO!) and we can't wait!

32 Weeks
How far
along? 32Weeks...8 MONTHS!
Total weight gain: Right about 30lbs
Best moment of the week: Making tremendous progress on baby girl's room and registries. Furniture is ready, bed is made...now it's just time to organize the rest of the goodies!
Maternity clothes? Today, now that it's not as cold, I am wearing my only other pair of maternity pants I tried out - a pair of black cropped pants from Old Navy maternity. I got these on an amazing sale of about $20 (and my only other pair of maternity pants are Jessica Simpson jeans - also only $20 from Destination Maternity!), so this maternity style isn't breaking the bank too much! ;) Comfort is key right now...even though I could probably slither into some normal tops, etc., I would much rather be comfortable at this time in my pregnancy and fit into things.
Sleep: It got much better after getting the wrist guard/cast, and now I'm pretty much back to sleeping through the night, minus the restroom breaks at 1am and 4am.
Miss anything? A few days I have missed an ice cold beer?! Other than that, nothing really.
Food cravings: I wish I could have an exciting answer to this...but no! I continue to eat Lenny's almost three times a week...and Cool Mint Chocolate Cliff Bars have been my favorite...but nothing fancy that I've woken up in the middle of the night and thought - OMG I have to have that!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Not at all!
Symptoms: Good news is that thanks to a tip from one of my Mom's friends about carpel tunnel (that it could possibly be a B6 deficiency) AND for finally getting my OBGYN's approval to go see my Mom's acupuncturist...my carpel tunnel is immensely better. There is still tons of tingling in the fingertips, but the PAIN has subsided and I can actually sit at my desk and on my phone and use my fingers without being in pain. Hallelujah!
Belly button in or out? Flat AND out?!
Movement: Yes! Definitely happens mostly when I'm laying still in the evenings.
Happy or Moody most of the time? So, so happy.
Looking forward to: this single-digit countdown! Only 8 more weeks to go and I am on cloud NINE!
Total weight gain: Right about 30lbs

31 Weeks
How far
along? 31Weeks!!!!
Total weight gain: Somewhere between 27-30ish lbs. Is it weird that it continuously goes up AND down?!
Best moment of the week: Hearing all about baby shower plans for this sweet baby girl! I can't wait to celebrate her with friends and family.
Maternity clothes? Today I am wearing a regular dress but just with leggings underneath. My go-to has been maternity leggings and whatever else I can get over the belly! Still trying to not buy much of anything that is maternity; if it is, I want to be able to wear it even after baby!
Sleep: It was pretty bad this week until I got a wrist guard/splint for my carpal tunnel. I would say I was sleeping in one-to-two-hour increments all night, for a total of about 5 hours; but now that I have this splint I am sleeping *almost* through the night for at least 6-7 hours of sleep.
Miss anything? This week - I miss a lot; mainly the normal use of my right hand! With this carpal tunnel I have had to pull back extremely on the use of my right hand. I also miss being able to breath normally. :)
Food cravings: Nothing really...but that's probably because I've had a little bit of EVERYTHING over the last two weeks! I'm like a stuffed turkey on Christmas Day I've had so many yummy goodies that have kept baby so happy. :) Now it's back to eating a bit healthier!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Not at all!
Symptoms: Just this horrible, no good carpal tunnel. I go in to see the doctor again on Monday and am going to beg her to let me try acupuncture. It's beyond uncomfortable for my fingers to be numb 2/3rds of the day; my fingertips are so painful and even if I just do nothing but rest all day it doesn't go away. NEED RELIEF! :(
Belly button in or out? It's coming out, folks! It's technically still flat, but there's a little part that's raised up. It's hysterical! I now have to wear a camisole underneath just about everything to smooth out my belly!
Movement: Yes and I love it!
Happy or Moody most of the time? So, so happy.
Looking forward to: Still looking forward to getting some inspiration and working on baby girl's room. I did some shopping this weekend so I hope to stop being so indecisive and actually give it a go!!
