29 & 30 Weeks

How far along? 30Weeks...3/4ths of the way there!
Total weight gain: Somewhere between 25-30ish lbs. It fluctuates all the time!
Best moment of the week: Thinking about Christmas next year with our little girl. I am so anxious to meet her and she will be surrounded by such love; it will certainly be a magical Christmas with a little one around!
Maternity clothes? Still sticking to just a few maternity sweaters and clutch tops. I like to stick to the tops that could possibly double as non-maternity clothes after the fact; that's the great thing about being super pregnant in the winter is large over-sized sweaters are the best!
Sleep: Doing well but this week was the first time I really decided I shouldn't be sleeping on my stomach. It hasn't been uncomfortable until currently, so the "snoogle" pillow is again my best friend! Also my "pregnancy carpal tunnel" is unfortunately effecting my sleep and hopefully that will get better soon.
Miss anything? I missed having a glass of wine here and there over the holidays, but, I would have a half glass on the special occasion evenings. And one day in particular my Mom had an ice cold beer and I was crazy jealous...but that really only comes every once in awhile!
Food cravings: Nothing really...but man-oh-man was Christmas food good to this preggo. :) Just when I thought I couldn't fit in anything else...it was time for my Mom and Dad's famous Christmas dinner...and I totally made room. Baby girl is starting to take up more and more room and it is TOUGH being full these days. A "stuffed sausage" is how I usually describe it; I honestly sometimes don't even eat THAT much and I will be so full I have to lay down!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Not at all!
Symptoms:  As mentioned above, I have semi self-diagnosed myself with pregnancy induced carpal tunnel. :( I went in to the doctor after having some swelling in my feet and hands and the feet swelling went away but the hand swelling-turned-numbing-and-painful has stayed. Apparently this is quite normal and the crappy part is there isn't ALL that much I can do about it. If it continues this strongly I will check out a chiropractor or acupuncture, but in the meantime I just have to wait out the pain. It's at it's worst when I sleep; what happens is there is a circulation problem and when I'm stationary for a long time (but it's not ONLY when I'm stationary), it acts up even more. You know that "I slept on my hand and now it's asleep" feeling? It's that - except you can't shake it off. For hours. It stinks!
Belly button in or out? Flat sometimes, out sometimes. :) Not out as in, REALLY out...but much more "out" than I'm used to!
Movement: Yes and I love it!
Happy or Moody most of the time? So, so happy.
Looking forward to: I'm looking forward to getting that "nesting" feeling and getting a push to really finish baby girl's room!!
