This month your height is 28 inches and your weight is 18.8 lbs
Your sleeping patterns are... The past two months have been a battle between sicknesses and growth spurts so the sleep department hasn't been as flawless as it has been in the past. One week you'll sleep great, the next week you're up two times at night. When you're sick or teething we can't help but cuddle you when you're up at night, so that makes it a bit difficult when you're NOT sick anymore because you wake up and expect the same treatment that we had been giving you! 9 months was a little worse than 10 months...you seem to be doing better and more comfortable with soothing yourself back to sleep if you wake up. On a good night you will sleep from 6:45pm-6:45am!
Your naps have changed tremendously! In the new classroom you're in, instead of two naps a day it's one big nap in the middle of the day for 2-2 1/2 hours. I think maybe this is what is helping you sleep better at night! It's so sweet if I happen to go to Primrose while all the kids are taking their nap at the same time. This classroom is much more schedule-focused and the goal really is to get all the kids on the same schedule so that they can be playing, eating and napping all together.

Your feeding schedule is... You have 3 solid meals a day and 4 8oz bottles a day. I thought we were going to progress to less milk on a daily basis but she continues to want it and enjoy it. I am still pumping and she's on about 40% breast milk, 60% Similac Soy formula. She now actually loves most all foods (ones that she didn't like at first) and we give her a pretty wide variety of pureed fruits, vegetables and proteins. Blaire loves her Puffs and Mum Mum crackers, but I have a deathly fear of choking so unfortunately besides mashing up some potatoes and beans, we haven't attempted too many table foods yet. Maybe when baby girl has a few more teeth we can cross that bridge. :) She is cutting one of her front teeth which will bring her tooth number up to 3! Need more of those before I feel better about her chewing things...!
Some sounds and motions you make are... where do I begin! First words/sound was "Dada". I will never forget sitting in the car at a red light and her in the backseat and all of a sudden in the midst of her normal baby babble, she clearly enunciated "da da". I was so excited and caught off guard, and again - waiting at a red light, so I got to quickly pull out my phone and catch it again on camera!
Since then, she would mumble "NaNa", and just as of a few days ago we officially heard "MaMa"! Warms my little heart to no words.
This little girl could sit on the floor and laugh at us all day long! She thinks anything Mom and Dad do is hysterical and we do anything we can to hear her laugh. It truly might be my favorite sound in the world.
Your likes and dislikes are... You love love LOVE your daddy. He might be at the top of your list when it comes to likes. Anytime this girl can be around her daddy she is a happy camper! We love our weekends with her, just snuggling in the morning in bed and playing all afternoon at Honey's or Mimi's house. This girl loves her toys but nothing like she loves just making people laugh and having people make HER laugh! She is so fortunate to have 7 aunts that love on her so much and we love hanging with them on the weekends.
Her dislikes would probably be diaper changes because she has "FOMO" (Fear of Missing Out) and can't bear to be away from anything fun for even a minute! It's hysterical.
By the end of the month you are learning to... So much has evolved over the last two months. First there was the crawling. Then there was the pulling up. Then we got to not just pulling up but really being able to stand assisted and ALL. THE. TIME. Now she learned to go from the crawling position to the sitting position and that's the one that we've been trying to teach her for awhile. She is such a big girl and I love it and hate it at the exact same moment. It's so bittersweet and I feel so thankful that her, Jason and I get such quality time together just laying around and laughing. It feels so good and I love everything she's learning. It definitely makes me sentimental and excited for the future possibility of another baby. No time soon, but, it does make me happy to think about later on down the road. :)
It's been an incredible two months! Every day with this girl is a new discovery and a new adventure. We love what she teaches us, but most of all we love how she's brought our families even closer together. Who wouldn't want to hang with this sweet love all day?!
