How far
along? 38 Weeks!
Total weight
gain: 37-38lbs. I've been pretty consistently gaining 1lb per week from the beginning!
Best moment of
the week: Hubby's office threw us a wonderfully sweet shower on Valentine's Day and that was so special! I also have been finalizing everything in her room with the help of my amazing family and it's been so fun to do with everyone. :)
Maternity
clothes? With these HOT temps (yes - to a nine month pregnant woman, the 75-85 degree range is indeed HOT!) I have had to wear my one pair of maternity black pants to work almost every day (I miss my leggings and boots! But it's just too hot for them...) paired with a different colored plain maternity tee. Switch up the jewelry and accessories and it doesn't feel too much like the same outfit everyday. ;)
Sleep:
Sleep itself is great...finding the right position has become the difficult task! I think I mentioned last week that I no longer can really lounge on the couch in the living room with Hubby because to sit up would mean I have to sit completely upright which is totally uncomfortable. I feel almost like baby girl is stretching out long and lean in there...to say I don't have much wiggle room is an understatement!
Miss anything?
Not really at this point!
Food
cravings: Carbs and candy. :)
Anything making
you queasy or sick? I'm back to having a little difficulty with grilled chicken. I didn't clarify which chicken sandwich I wanted from Chik-Fil-A the other night and needless to say I went to bed hungry and queasy when Hubby brought home a grilled one for me. But I got over it and woke up in the middle of the night ready to eat again. :)
Symptoms:
Feeling 38 weeks pregnant and ready to go!
Belly button in
or out? Out and flat! Depends on which part of the day!
Movement:
Lots! It's a tight fit in there these days and I am certainly feeling it. (As
I'm sure she is too!)
Happy or Moody
most of the time? So, so happy.
Looking forward
to: Finalizing baby girl's room!!! Can't wait to get everything finally in order and share the pictures of all our hard work :)
