Blaire - 3 Months Old
This month your height is 23 inches and your weight is 12lbs., 3oz.
Your sleeping patterns are... Great! I know way too well to not get too excited because nothing lasts long with an infant, but ever since she's been 11 weeks old she has been sleeping through the night. There are of course nights every once in awhile she'll wake up, but for the most part, she's a golden girl when it comes to sleep. I feel like every parent must have at least one avenue to brag about their kid, right?! This would be ours. I always joke that she might be super high maintenance when she's awake, but since she's such a good sleeper we can't complain. I'm not sure if I'd say she's on any kind of nap schedule though, which would be ideal, but we'll get there. She started "school" three weeks ago and I was sort of hoping she'd fall into a nap routine there, but we're still waiting for that to happen. The two hour nap she loves to take when she comes home for the day is almost a sure bet, but not much else.

Your feeding schedule is... During the day, you continue to eat every 2 1/2 to 3 hours. She seems to be able to go 3 hours when she's at school, but when she's at home with us it's hard to not feed her after 2 1/2. This girl can eat! She's eating 5.5oz when she takes a bottle, and I will probably soon need to increase that. We're holding off for now on the formula and we'll see what the doctor says about weight at the 4 month visit.
Some sounds and motions you make are... The absolute best! We love nothing more than hearing her "talk" to us and her laughs still make me laugh every. single. time! She is becoming more and more vocal and thinks the noises I make to her are hysterical.
Your likes and dislikes are... Likes: Mornings! Morning play time with Mom and Dad in particular. :) She also is really getting into her play mat as she is able to move around a bit more and see everything that dangles more clearly. She has loved making new friends at school - Mathis and William are the only other two babies with her right now and they just play like they're the best of friends! When I walked in the other day and saw them "talking" to each other, my heart just melted. And I wouldn't say she LIKES tummy time, but she doesn't HATE it as much as she used to and that's progress, right?! Dislikes: Being cold. Giving her a bath each night is so much fun for us and she has a grand 'ol time, but the aftermath isn't always pretty. If only her clothes magically appeared on her body after the bath, we'd all be much happier campers! ;) She also isn't always in love with getting her diaper changed. She came around and was loving it for awhile...but now we're back to the tears!

Your favorite toys and games are... She loves all the toys at school and at home she still really loves her play mat. She loves a good round of peek-a-boo but I think the mirror might be her favorite. She loves "looking at the baby" as we call it and cracks herself up!
By the end of the month you are learning to... We have a roller! At 12 weeks she rolled from her front to back for the first time at school! She continued to do it once every couple days and we love watching her do it now at home. She has also really found her feet and she grabs at them to play with all the time. Her tummy time has transformed and I love watching her hold her head so high on the ground!
Meeting Abby for the very first time!
